The duality of sweet and savory has been delighting our palettes for centuries. For that exact reason, our

customers continue to come back to Purple Door for our Salted Caramel and Brandy Old Fashioned

flavors. We have perfected the balance in our Salted Caramel ice cream between the sweet, silky

caramel and complementary sea salt. As Wisconsinites, we knew we had to create a desirable Brandy

Old Fashioned flavor. The flavor combines brandy, orange, cherry and locally-sourced Bittercube bitters to

recreate your favorite drink into your favorite treat!

Chocolate Champions: Malted Chocolate Chocolate Chunk & Door County Cherry Chunk

Seriously, though, who doesn’t love chocolate? Purple Door’s Malted Chocolate Chocolate Chunk and

Door County Cherry Chunk flavors have made their spot in the top for the exceptional tastes they leave

on your palette. Purple Door’s Malted Chocolate Chocolate Chunk is made with dark chocolate cocoa

malted milk powder to create an elegant, rich chocolate experience. We figured that wasn’t enough so we

added chocolate chunks for texture and even more delightful chocolate flavor! Our Door County Cherry

Chunk is made with delicious dark chocolate chunks to combat the tart sweetness of the best Door

County cherries.

Conquering Classics: Mint Chip & Vanilla

Classic ice cream flavors are simple yet irresistible, which is why we aren’t surprised they rank so high.

Purple Door’s owner, Steve Schultz, childhood self is happy to see Mint Chip on the leaderboard. The

striking mint is reminiscent in every bite, perfectly paired with local Masterson Chocolate’s dark chocolate

pieces. We didn’t need any artificial coloring to make a mark with this flavor! Of course, our Vanilla flavor

has to make this list. Vanilla is the king of all ice cream flavors serving as a base for almost every ice

cream flavor you can think of. It’s simple, pure, and beloved.

Nostalgic Number Ones: Purple Moon & Milk and Cookies

If all it took was one lick of an ice cream cone to send you back to your childhood, would you do it? We

know we would! We were inspired to create two adored flavors to replicate those “good old days” feelings

– Purple Moon and Milk and Cookies! Our Purple Moon ice cream is a play on the nostalgic blue moon

ice cream flavor, except ours is purple, of course! Purple Door’s Purple Moon flavor has no artificial

flavors or colors and tastes of citrus and almond. Blueberry and raspberry puree make it our trademark

purple color! Milk + Cookies = The Perfect Pair! We made our Milk and Cookies flavor based on what

every kid (and adult) wants after school. Our sweet ice cream base is paired with small and large pieces

of chocolate cookies made by Sugar and Flour Bakery! Purple Door’s nostalgic flavors are certain to bring

out the best times of your lives, even counting your first lick!
